Additionally, you will learn about the wide range of services offered through our clinical programs, which integrate the latest in scientific-practitioner research with comprehensive compassionate care.
Currently, our Department offers a Master’s program in Counseling and a Ph.D. program in Counselor Education and Supervision. We are thrilled about the current progress being made toward development of Masters and Doctoral programs in Educational Psychology. Additionally, we are collaborating with the Department of Health and Kinesiology, University of Texas Health Science Center, and the University of Texas in Austin to develop a Sports Psychology program that would not only serve this region of Texas, but provide educational opportunities across the nation. Regarding the vision of the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Adult and Higher Education (CEPAHE), we embrace an educational philosophy of engagement that honors collaboration, diversity, and integrity through a synergistic scholarship of teaching, research, service, and relationships with our students, colleagues, and community.
